(7) The Elephant Camp - Victoria Falls (6/18)

The Elephant Camp (the tent camp we are staying at) is about 10 minutes away from Victoria Falls and we can see the mist from our room and lodge!  It's one of the 7 natural wonders of the world and forms the largest sheet of water in the world!  A little fun fact for ya!  :)

So of course we got absolutely soaking wet - so of course I was a little grumplestiltskin because at that point we still had no luggage and my only pair of jeans and shoes were soaked!  It was pretty awesome tho!  We were walking around in a rainforest (that surrounds the falls because of the mist it puts off) only 800 meters (still have no clue how big that is but they still use the metric system here haha) around the falls!  

So a rainforest means Tarzan vines!!  Weee!!  

How stunning are these falls?!  

On our way back to the camp we saw some baboons on the roofs in the town!  How crazy is that?!  

Our driver took us on a little detour on the way back to see this massive tree - kind of random but it was still cool ;) it looks like its upside down and the roots are on the top huh?!  It is about 1,500 years old so it's huge!!

Alright our car is here to take us to Chobe!!  I'll write more in a bit when I find wifi again!
